Steamboat Facts

- Over the past five years, 46 Steamboat Scholars have been selected from a pool of nearly 700 applicants.
- 100% of the Grant Partners with whom we work continue to host Scholars each summer.
- 97% of alumni stay actively involved and report that becoming a Steamboat Scholar positively changed the course of their lives.
- 1 out of 3 Steamboat alumni have gone directly to graduate studies at prestigious universities such as Cornell, Harvard, Stanford and Yale.
- 40% of the time, Grant Partners have been so impressed by the caliber of Steamboat’s finalists that, in addition to the selected Scholar, they have also offered separate internship opportunities to the other Finalists.
- 100% of Steamboat Scholars have given their time to public service.
