As a lifelong Giants fan, Tori has always had a passion for sports. She learned the important life-lessons of teamwork, leadership, and perseverance as a varsity student-athlete in high school on the field hockey and lacrosse teams. At Boston College, she balances her schoolwork with her job for the football team where she is a student video manager responsible for recording all practices and games throughout the season for the coaches. She spent last summer interning for the New Jersey Devils in the Client Services and Corporate Partnerships departments where she created numerous customized proposals for corporate partnerships and fulfilled contract elements for existing sponsors of the team including private events and special promotions.
Tori also has a passion for volunteering and working with kids. She is a member of the Boston College Peer Health Exchange where she plans and teaches workshops in healthy relationships and nutrition and physical activity for public high schools in the Boston area that lack health education. Last year, she participated in a Habitat for Humanity spring break trip in New York. She has also spent four summers as a camp counselor with a group that would challenge her energy level-the first grade boys-at Meadowbrook Day Camp.
Tori will spend her Spring Semester studying abroad in Italy at the University of Parma where she hopes to immerse herself in the culture and explore one of her other passions: Italian cuisine. Tori could not be more excited for this summer; she is counting down to her first day with the Giants and is so excited to meet the other Steamboat Scholars."
