A life-long Giants fan and scholar athlete in high school, Pete jumped at the opportunity to develop his leadership experience outside of his academic studies in finance and marketing. At Boston College, Pete acted as the student coordinator for the Honda EdVenture Project, a semester-long nationwide competition to develop an innovative advertising campaign for a new Honda model, the Honda Fit. Working multiple part-time jobs to finance a portion of his academic expenses while maintaining a rigorous course load that allowed him to graduate with an accelerated standing, Pete draws his motivation from his younger brother Nick, who was diagnosed with the highly fatal congenital disease Pulmonary Lymphangiectasia. Pete has learned a great deal about perseverance and never losing perspective through Nick’s example of always putting others’ plight before his own trials and tribulations.
In the Marketing and Sales department, Pete helped further the Giants' youth football program. Pete contributed creative ideas for the Junior Giants Fan Club, developed the youth section of the website, and hosted an open casting call for children to star in episodes of the television show, “Giants on Deck.” In addition, he helped organize marketing campaigns for the Giants’ incentive-based credit card program, culminating in an event featuring Giants players. While attending the Giants training camp in upstate New York, Pete organized and hosted over ten Giants VIP Sponsor visits and assisted with the “Albany Idol” promotion, in which contestants competed to sing the national anthem at a pre-season Giants game.
After graduation Pete worked as a senior specialist in credit derivatives at Merrill Lynch in New York City. After a switch to becoming a trading assistant on a structured credit trading desk, he is now a trading assistant on the LATAM (Latin American) Emerging Markets desk.
