Justin is a Political Science major at Boston College where he spends his time pursuing his passions for both politics and sports. Prior to his Steamboat experience, Justin worked on several political campaigns. He helped elect Claire McCaskill to the United States Senate in 2006, and spent the following summer sharpening his communications skills as a press assistant in McCaskill's Washington Senate office. At Boston College, Justin is the head manager of the Men’s Ice Hockey Team, handling the day-to-day operations of one of the most successful college hockey programs of the last decade. He brings his passion for sports to the hockey rink every day in order to organize team practices, finalize travel logistics, promote the team throughout the Boston area, and assist the coaching staff with various special projects. After helping the team reach the Final Four during his first two seasons, Justin reached the pinnacle of college hockey last season when the Eagles captured the Division I National Championship.
Justin spent his summer working with the three members of the Giants' Community Relations department. He oversaw the day-to-day operations of the department, which included handling donation and player appearance requests for nonprofit organizations. Justin accompanied players on visits to local schools as part of the Giants' "What Moves U" program, an initiative to help promote physical fitness and fight child obesity. He also spent time at the Giants Training Camp in Albany, NY, where he hosted youth groups from around the tri-state area, providing underprivileged kids the opportunity to meet the players and attend an official team practice.
