Having been raised in foreign countries his entire life, Gerry has always appreciated the community he shares with others. While in Kenya, driven by his passion for both sports and helping others, Gerry, along with a few close friends, started a summer soccer camp for elementary and middle school children. At Boston College, Gerry is a senior pursuing a triple major in Management & Leadership, Marketing, and Psychology. Gerry nurtured his passion for both sports and community service while interning in the Community Relations department of the Boston Celtics in the Fall of 2008. There, he worked on numerous projects with player community outreach, where he was an active member of the event staff. He balances his schoolwork with his enthusiasm for sports as Manager of the women’s soccer team, working directly with the coaches in various capacities. He has spent much of his time in college participating in numerous volunteering opportunities that range from mentoring and tutoring in the Boston area to service trips to the Appalachian region and Belize.

For Gerry, working for the Giants was a dream come true. He spent his summer working between both the Marketing and Community Relations departments. He was an active member of their community initiatives, which included local visits with members of the team and he was able to help with the shooting of one national advertisement commercial and the production of two Public Service Announcements. To complete his summer experience Gerry spent time at the Giants Training Camp in Albany where he hosted youth and community groups at practices, and helped with the annual Giants Youth Day.

Gerry is finishing his senior year at Boston College.
