Joyce Lee '09 Awarded an Eric Lund Global Research and Reporting Grant

Joyce Lee '09 has been awarded a $10,000 Eric Lund Global Research and Reporting Grant for the 2010 academic year. One of nine projects chosen out of an applicant pool including Northwestern freshman through seniors, her proposal will send her to western China in March to investigate the impact of industrialization and environmental degradation on the minority populations of Gansu and Xinjiang. A multimedia package will be available for viewing online this year.
