Freyja van Noort '07 granted Bucol Award

Freyja van Noort '07 received the Bucol Award for her senior thesis collection, granted to a student of Parsons The New School for Design for the best use and interpretation of Solstiss Bucol laces and silks. 

Established in New York in 1986, Solstiss/Bucol (America) is the subsidiary of two renown French textile companies, Solstiss and Bucol, respected worldwide for their creativity, the quality of their products, and their longstanding tradition of craftsmanship.

Solstiss/Bucol is dedicated to the effort of supporting future designers, introducing students to the wonderful world of fine laces and silks and giving back to the community.
